The customer service was fast and everyone was very helpful! I had to have a new SIM card shipped and they even waived the fee. The best customer support I've experienced in a phone company!

The staff at the airport pick-up point were wonderful and incredibly helpful. They set up our phones very quickly, giving us instructions and SIM removal tools in case we needed to change SIMs at any point.
They even helped us find the toilets and pick-up point for the airport shuttle bus.
The service was fast and reliable and the only time it went slowly was when I was in a basement floor bar with a low signal. The rest of the time the signal was strong and fast enough.

I’ve used Sakura Mobile for the last ten years and they never failed, delivering excellent service. Their SIM cards are easy to configure and provide very good coverage in Japan.

Ordering a SIM card was easy on the website. They sent me multiple emails with instructions on how the process will be for collection at the airport, how to activate the eSIM, and how to register my phone in the system for activating the eSIM.
I contacted them to change my pick-up date once, they replied within 24 hours and everything was sorted perfectly.
The pick-up process was easy, the instructions enclosed in the envelope was detailed and easy to follow. I activated my eSIM within 5 mins after the collection. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Really good experience with data and SIM plan. I stayed in Japan for 6 weeks and never had problems with reception anywhere! Moreover, the customer support was extremely quick when I had a problem setting ups the eSim (which was totally my own fault). The prices are also really fair, even though you could get it cheaper somewhere else.

Picking up the pocket wifi at Haneda was a breeze and dropping it off was as well. I didn’t need to drop it off at the same location which makes it convenient since we flew out of KIX.
The service was great and worked well. The battery lasted most of the day as long as it was fully charged. We primarily used it from 8am-10pm and it was left just enough juice to make it to the end of the day.

For non-native speakers in Japan, our Sakura Mobile Pocket WiFi unit was indispensable for navigating, communicating, and translating on the go. It worked as advertised and never let us down during our three-week visit. I also like that we didn't need to adapt our phones in any way with SIMs or eSIMS; just turn the unit on and WiFi appears for several devices. The range was very acceptable as well. Connection was smooth for the 1 month that I've been using it. Customer support is also quick in responding to any questions I had.
I got the eSIM data plan + voice and it's never been easier being able to make calls and reservations here. Had some troubles setting it up but the staff at the counter where I picked up my package helped to promptly fix my issues!

I had Sakura Fiber Internet installed last month. The connection has been consistently good, and the customer service and installation has been excellent. The installation was very helpful in working with me to find an inconspicuous area to run the wiring. We had been using a wireless router from two other major providers, but the connection with those services was never great and sometimes non-existent.
