English Support is very helpful

Sakura Mobile has English support and they perfectly understood my request to change my payment method and sent me a link for me to update said payment method.
The website/links can be viewed in English making it very user friendly to those of us with limited Japanese ability.

Recognises 2nd gen residence card

It was very quick and easy to order a SIM card and pick it up at their office the next day. They allow you to pay with an international card, and they have updated their systems to recognise the 2nd generation residence card, which I found many other providers could not do.

A real life saver!

As someone who moved to Japan and needed a Japanese phone number, Sakura Mobile was a life saver. The person who helped me spoke English well and took me through the process step by step and answered all my questions. He was patient and understanding. I was able to use an overseas Debit Card as well which really helped. I can't recommend them enough for others in a similar situation (at least the Shinjuku branch).

Sakura Mobile is very easy to work with - the wifi worked great and when I wanted to extend, a simple email was all that was necessary. They also provide a package and label for easy shipping back via Japan Post. I really appreciate the great customer service and ease of use!

Sakura Mobile was 1000/10 experience…

Sakura Mobile was 1000/10 experience for our family of 5 in Japan for 15 days. We gave the teens their own and the adults and small child (with iPad) took the other. We were able to stay connected with each other on android and apple devices no problem. Everyone had fast access reliable access to their favorite content, messaging and WhatsApp. Our service provider wanted $25 per person, per day. No way! Sakura Mobile for the win!!!

Sakura Mobile Home WiFi

I have been using Home Wifi service for more than 1 month. There has never been any connection issue. It is fast enough for me to play online game while watching YouTube and having WhatsApp call. The setup is a no brainer, very easy. I just plugged in the device into wall socket and it was ready to use. Also, the customer service is very responsive and informative. I hope Sakura Mobile always keep its good service.

Fantastic customer service, big thank you to both Ezri and Keigo for assisting with an issue related to my eSim. Despite communicating via email, responses were prompt, to the point and most importantly helped fix the issue in under a day. No problem setting up the SIM. Instructions were super clear. Mobile phone recognises the SIM and network immediately. Just remember to restart the mobile phone to get connected.

Great customer service!

I accidentally booked the wrong date for my esim. I sent in a ticket and they fixed it immediately to the right dates, extending the esim period by 1 day, and I didn't have to pay anything extra. 10/10 customer service.

Everything from start to finish was simple and easy. The English language support was fantastic. Brandon at the Shinjuku office helped us set up our Japanese phone lines.
